Snapper M924E Snow Blower
The Snapper M924E Snow Blower is a small dual stage snowblower. It is bigger than the likes of the Snapper SS521E Snow Blower but is much smaller than the likes of the Snapper L1226E Snow Blower or even the Snapper XL1738E Snow Blower. As it’s a 2 stage snow thrower, it uses both an auger and an impeller to get rid of snow. The auger is made from notched steel and has a diameter of 0.3 m (12 inches). Once the auger initially breaks up the snow, it then feeds it towards the impeller. The impeller is made up of 3 blades and is constructed from steel. This very quickly chops up the snow further and then forces it out at high speed into the chute, which directs it away from the clearing area.
The chute is constructed from steel and it is rotated manually up to 190 degrees to always give the operator an angle to work with. At the top of the chute sits a deflector which gives you greater accuracy as to where you send the expelled snow from the snow blower. This is especially handy if you are working in tight areas and don’ t want to be sending snow into a house or onto an area you have just cleared.
The machine weighs in at 79.8 kg (176 lbs) and comes with a halogen headlight allowing you to operate it even during the dark. The clearance width of this machine is 0.61 m (24 inches) while it has an intake height of 0.5 m (19.75 inches). The friction disc drive transmission that the M924E employs gives it 6 speeds when traveling forwards and 2 for reversing. It uses Arctic Trac wheels that have a width of 0.13 m (5 inches) to give it really good grip and traction in slippery conditions. Click Here to buy the Snapper M924E Snowblower.
