Husqvarna PZ6029D
The Husqvarna PZ6029D is very similar to the Husqvarna PZ6030CV, except that it’s a little smaller. The cutting width of this machine comes in at 60 inches, while it is powered by a 29 hp engine. This makes it very similar to both the Husqvarna PZ6029FX and the Husqvarna PZ6029PFX zero turn lawnmowers except for a few minor details. The engine powering the PZ 6029 D is an 05 series engine designed and built by Kubota. This is a 3 cylinder engine that is liquid cooled. The engine is started by a 12V battery. The battery is recharged via a 40 amp alternator. You can probably guess from the name, that this machine is diesel powered, which means that extra caution needs to be taken to ensure that you never mistakenly add gasoline to it. Adding fuel is easy on this machine, as you can fill it up from either side.
Each front tire on the Husqvarna PZ6029D measures 13×6.5-6 (13 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter) while each rear tire is far bigger, measuring 26×12-12 (26 inch diameter, 12 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter). The sole function of the front wheels are simply to keep the machine balanced and from tipping over. The front wheels provide no grip or traction. The rear tires are responsible for both driving the machine forward and turning. The speed and direction of the PZ6029D is controlled by 2 hand paddles that are in front of the drivers seat.
The Husqvarna PZ6029D is very large, with a total length of 2.19 m (86.5 inches). When the roll bar (ROPS) is being used, the total height of the machine from ground level comes to 1.85 m (73 inches). Luckily though you can fold it away for storage. With the roll bar folded down, it has a total height of 1.27 m (50 inches).
