Simplicity L1528E Snow Blower
The Simplicity L1528E Snow Blower is the mid size model from the large frame dual stage snowblower series produced by Simplicity. It is the bigger version of the Simplicity L1226E Snow Blower, while it is the smaller version of the Simplicity L1730E Snow Thrower. It has a clearing width that is 0.71 m (28 inches) wide and an intake height of 0.5 m (19.75 inches). The auger first crushes and cuts up the snow in front of it. This auger has a diameter of 0.36 (14 inches) and is built from serrated steel. Then after the snow has been broken up it moves towards the impeller, which has diameter 0.3 m (12 inches) and is made up of 4 blades that shoots the snow out the chute up to a distance of 12.2 m (40 feet).
The Simplicity L1528E snowblower is powered by a Briggs and Stratton Professional Series gasoline engine. This is a 4 stroke engine that provides the machine 14.5 ft-lbs of torque. It has a fuel tank that is capable of holding 3.8 liters (1 US gallon). The Briggs and Stratton engine in the L1528E snow thrower is started by plugging the engine in to a regular plug socket and simply pressing the electric starter button. However you may not have access to a plug. This is no problem, the is also a pull cord, recoil system that you can use as backup to start the snow blower.
The chute on the Simplicity L1528E snow blower is made from steel and is 0.1 m (4 inches) wide. The chute is electronically controlled and can rotate through 200 degrees. Rotating the chute is controlled from the operator station. There is also an electronic deflector at the top of the chute so that you can accurately control how far you are throwing the snow.
