Husqvarna PZ5426FX
The Husqvarna PZ5426FX zero turn lawnmower is a similar but smaller model than the Husqvarna PZ6029FX but is a lot smaller than the Husqvarna P-ZT6128 zero turn mower. The engine powering the PZ 5426 FX is a 26 hp FX series model, that is built by Kawasaki. This engine has a total size of 0.726 liters and is air cooled. The twin cylinder engine uses a heavy duty cannister type air filter to purify the air intake before it enters into the combustion chamber. The oil capacity of the engine comes in at 2.1 liters (70.4 fl oz).
Using a Parker dual hydrostatic transmission, power is transferred to each rear wheel independent of the other. The transmission box on the Husqvarna PZ5426FX has a capacity to hold up to 5.7 liters of hydraulic fluid. The total weight of the PZ 5426FX comes to 571.5 kg (1260 lbs), making it fairly heavy. Thankfully though the rear wheels, which carry most of this weight aren’t inclined to leave visible thread marks, due to their large width of 10.5 inches each. Their complete measurements come to 23×10.5-12 (23 inch diameter, 10.5 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter), while the rear tires are considerably smaller, coming in at 12×6.5-6 (12 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter).
The mower deck on the Husqvarna PZ5426FX has a cutting width of 54 inches. The cutting deck consists of 3 blades to give a superior and clean cut to every lawn it works on. Located at the front of the mower deck is 4 anti-scalp wheels. The purpose of these wheels is to ensure that the deck travels easily over ground without ever coming into contact with it (which often result in unsightly scrapes into the turf). The deck is lifted using a foot mechanism with spring assist. For dealing with the grass clippings, many use a mulching attachment instead of just discharging them out the side of the deck, but their is also the option of a bagger too.

Bought this machine used in 2018 with 300 hours on it. I have 4.5 acres to cut with some rough terrain and on a hill. If you take care(service it per specs) of this machine it will take care of you.
When I first bought the machine I had areas with heavy grass that was 3 feet high. The machine powered through without any problems at all. In 5 years and 150 hours, this machine has never let me down, except when I had to replace the blade switch (which was easy enough).
The only things I’ve had to do is change, oil, replace blades and replace the blades (PTO) switch. It still looks and operates like new. Highly recommend.
For some reason I cannot do the star rating so here’s mine
