Husqvarna BZ6127
The Husqvarna BZ6127 zero turn lawn mower is one of the bigger offerings from the guys at Husqvarna. Similar models to it include the Husqvarna PZ6030CV and the Husqvarna P-ZT6128 lawnmowers. The BZ 6127 will almost always be exclusively found being used by commercial outfits and contractors due to the fact that it’s just so large and that it would be a very inefficient choice for most households. There is a choice of engine that comes with this mower when you are buying it brand new. You can get it with a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine or a Daihatsu engine. Both engines are diesel powered. They also both use a heavy duty canister style air filter to clean dust from the air intake.
The duel fuel tanks on the Husqvarna BZ6127 that supply it with diesel can hold up to 44 liters (11.4 US gallons). The BZ 6127 uses a hydrostatic transmission from Hydro-Gear to route power from the engine to the wheels. This is a dual hydrostatic transmission that enables the operator to control each rear wheel independent of the other. This means that the back wheels do all the work; they both drive the lawn mower forwards as well as turn it. The rear wheels are very big, each measuring 26×12-12 (26 inch diameter, 12 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter), while the front wheels are a lot smaller, each measuring 13×6.5-6 (13 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter).
The mower deck on the Husqvarna BZ6127 is very large with a total cutting width of 61 inches. The deck is made from a combination of 10 & 7 gauge steel (the 7 gauge steel makes up the skirts for extra strength). Inside the deck, there are 3 mower blades. The operator’s seat has a high back, full suspension and armrest to give great comfort during long operating hours.
