The Husqvarna 11527SB Snow Blower is a very powerful and robust machine. As it has a clearing width of 0.69 m (27 inches) it may seem very similar to the Husqvarna 12527HV Snow Blower, which also has a clearing width of 0.69 m (27 inches) but in fact there are quite a few differences. The 11527SB snow blower is powered by a Briggs and Stratton, 4 stroke engine. This engine has a displacement of 0.25 liters. However, like the 12527HV, this engine is started by either a recoil pull cord or if you are close to a plug socket, it can be started by simply pressing a button.

The power from the Briggs and Stratton engine in the Husqvarna 11527SB snowblower is transferred to the wheels via a transmission that gives the snowblower 6 gears when in forward motion, while it only has 2 gears for reversing. The wheels on this model are Kenda Arctic thread wheels giving the machine a huge amount of traction and grip  even when it’s on a slippery, icy surfaces. Once the snow is crushed by the 0.3 m (12 inches) serrated steel auger and passes through the 0.3 m (12 inches), 3 blade impeller steel impeller it is then channeled away from the 11527SB snow blower by a steel chute.

The steel chute on the Husqvarna 11527SB snow thrower can rotate through 200 degrees, meaning that the operator will always be able to find somewhere to deposit snow. The chute is rotated using a basic crank system. Sitting atop the chute is a deflector that can be used by the operator to control the path of the expelled snow with greater accuracy and precision. You can also add on drift cutters to this machine to help you with tackling snow that is higher than it’s intake height of 0.58 m (23 inches). This machine is a step up from it’s smaller brother the Husqvarna 924SB Snow Blower.
