The Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH zero turn lawn mower has the same cutting width as the Cub Cadet Tank L60 lawnmower, although many people see it as an upgraded version of the Cub Cadet Tank M54-KH zero turn lawn mower. The mower deck on the M60KH has a cutting width of 60 inches. This deck houses 3 blades and is made from 10 gauge steel. The blades on the deck are belt driven and are engaged electronically. On the front of the deck, there is 4 anti scalping wheels which guides the deck over the contours of the ground to help ensure a smooth cut. Similar to these anti scalping wheels is a full width rear roller which smooths the grass and ground after you cut it.

The deck on the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH has a cutting range of 4 inches. It can be lowered down to just 1 inch above the ground and raised all the way up to 5 inches above the ground in tiny 0.25 inch increments. These small increments allow you to almost always get the cutting height that you desire. Raising and lowering of the deck is done with a spring assisted foot operated lever.

The engine that powers the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH zero turn lawn mower pumps out 27 hp from it’s twin cylinders. This is an air cooled engine that uses a combination of Parker wheel motors and dual Hydro-Gear pumps to power the wheels. This system can deliver enough power to give the M60KH a top speed of 19.3 kph (12 mph). There is no gear changing on this lawn mower.
