Cub Cadet RECON 60
There are many similar sized zero turn lawnmowers to Cub Cadet RECON 60. These include the Cub Cadet Tank L60, the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH and the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KW as well as the Cub Cadet Tank S6031 zero turn lawn mower. While the mower decks on these lawn mowers may be incredibly similar, each has a different engine. The RECON 60 lawn mower has a 25 hp Kohler engine powering it. This is a twin cylinder engine with overhead valves. The engine has a total displacement of 0.725 liters. The Kohler engine uses a fully pressurized lubrication system with a spin on oil filter.
The engine powers the mower deck on the Cub Cadet RECON 60. This mower deck obviously has a 60 inch cutting width. Just remember that the total width of the deck is a lot higher as there is a large plastic discharge chute attached to the side of the deck. The operator can raise and lower the mowing deck on the RECON 60 mower using a foot lever that is spring assisted. The deck can raised as high as 5 inches above the ground if you are cutting very thick or wet grass. It can also be lowered to withing 1 inch of the ground for a very close cut. Each of the three blades housed inside the deck has a length of 21 inches. There is a number of anti-scalping wheels as well as a nose roller and long rear roller to make sure the deck doesn’t scratch the lawn and to roll your lawn after cutting it.
The operator’s seat on the Cub Cadet RECON 60 is low profile and comes with arm rests and a suspension so that you will almost always be comfortable operating it for long hours. There is also an electronic hourmeter as standard on this model along with a cup holder.
