The Bad Boy 6000 Pup zero turn lawn mower is the larger of the 2 models in the Pup series from Badboy. The Bad Boy 5200 Pup is smaller with a cutting width of 52 inches. The Bad Boy 6000 Pup zero turn lawn mower has a mower deck with a cutting width of 60 inches. This mower deck has 3 blades, each of which has a total length of 20.5 inches. These blades are 2.5 inches wide and have a thickness of 0.25 inches. The blades have been heat treated to give them a longer life. The mower deck has been made from fabricated steel that has a thickness of 0.25 inches. The deck is floating and uses a total of 6 anti-scalping wheels to guide it over the contours of the lawn it’s cutting. The operator can raise and lower the deck over a range of 3.5 inches, from a low of 1.5 inches above the ground up to a high of 5 inches above the ground. The deck has infinite cutting heights thanks to it’s instant lift electronic actuator system.
The Bad Boy 6000 Pup zero turn mower powers the mower deck using a 30 hp Kohler Command engine. This engine has a displacement of 0.745 liters and is key started. The operator controls the speed and direction of the 6000Pup using a set of lap bars that are highly adjustable to suit the needs of the operator.
The total weight of the Bad Boy 6000 Pup comes to 547 kg (1206 lbs). While it has a cutting width of 60 inches, it’s overall width (without a plastic discharge flap attached) comes to 61.5 inches.
