The Massey Ferguson 2518H lawnmower is the smallest model in the MF 2500 series of garden tractor lawn mowers (both the smallest engine and smallest mower deck). Power from the engine reaches the wheels on the Massey Ferguson 2518H tractor mower by first passing through a K-46 hydrostatic transmission. This transmission makes the mower an automatic which means no gear changing. The top speed that the mower can reach is 8.9 kph (5.5 mph) going forward and in reverse it can hit 4.8 kph (3 mph).
