Husqvarna 11524E Crown Series Dual Stage Snow Blower
The Husqvarna 11524E Crown Series Dual Stage Snow Blower may not have a clearing width as wide as some of it’s compatriots like theĀ Husqvarna 11527SB Snow Blower or the Husqvarna 1830HV Snow Blower or even the Husqvarna 1830SB Snow Blower. It’s clearing width is only 0.61 m (24 inches). However this dual stage snow thrower is favored by a lot of professionals who need a small, compact yet powerful snow thrower to take care of heavy snow in confined areas. Thanks to it’s 4 stroke, Briggs and Stratton engine that has a displacement of 0.25 liters, this snow blower will happily eat into very heavily compacted snow.
The interesting thing about the Husqvarna 11524E Crown Series dual stage snowblower is that it is almost as wide as it is tall. It’s clearing width is 0.61 m (24 inches) while it’s intake measures 0.58 m (23 inches). When snow enters the machine, it is first met by the 0.3 m (12 inch) diameter auger, whose serrated steel blades easily cut up the snow and ice. Once the snow and ice has been pulverized properly by this powerful auger, it moves to the second part of the process, the impeller. The impeller has the same diameter as the auger at 0.3 m (12 inches) and consists of 3 steel blades. This sucks up and spits out the snow through the chute.
The chute on the Husqvarna 11524E Crown Series two stage snow blower is made from steel and can rotate up to 200 degrees, meaning that you will always find a direction to shoot snow. This chute is controlled from the operators station along with the deflector at the top of the chute. If you are someone who very regularly deals with heavy compacted snow, then you should consider this crown series dual stage snow blower as it has a weight bar. This weight bar can be loaded up with weights to help force the auger down onto the compacted snow, as opposed to the owner needing to tip and tilt the snow blower to get it to cut the compacted snow and ice.
