Toro TimeCutter SS3600
The Toro TimeCutter SS3600 zero turn lawnmower is the smallest in the TimeCutter series. The engine powering it prouduces just 15 hp. This is a Kohler gasoline engine that uses a dual element air filter to prevent particulate matter from entering the combustion chamber and clogging it. The Timer Cutter SS3600 uses a dual hydrostatic transmission to transfer power to the wheels of the lawnmower. This allows the operator to control the speed of each rear wheel independently using the lap bars in front of him. There are no pedals.
The Toro TimeCutter SS3600 has a pretty small mower deck. It has a cutting width of just 32 inches. Unlike a lot of the larger machines in the TimeCutter series like the Toro TimeCutter SS4200 and the Toro TimeCutter SS4235 zero turn lawn mowers, the SS 3600 has one only one large blade centrally mounted in it’s mowing deck. This Toro lawnmower discharges the grass clippings out the side of the mower deck, but there are 2 other options that you can take to deal with the clippings. The first is by using a Recycler Kit which consist of 3 blades that cut the grass up far more than the regular blades, turning it into a mulch that will quickly decompose, releasing it’s nutrients back into the soil.
The other option that you can use on the Toro TimeCutter SS3600 for dealing with the grass clippings is to attach a twin bagger to the rear of the machine so that it collects the clippings instead of leaving them on the ground, making the cut lawn much more pleasing to the eye. The mower deck can be quickly raised and lowered on the TimeCutter SS 3600 thanks to a foot pedal.
