Simplicity I924E Snow Blower
The Simplicity I924 Snow Blower is part of the Simplicity intermediate dual stage snow blower range. This snow blower is the bigger brother of the Simplicity Range Of Compact Single Stage Snow Blowers. It is powered by a 4 stroke, Briggs and Stratton Snow Series engine. As it’s a 4 stroke engine, you never need to worry about mixing fuel and oil as the oil is added separately to the engine. This Briggs and Stratton engine produces 9 Ft-lbs of torque. Most people start the I924E by simply using the electric starter button. However if you are not able to use this, there is also the option of using the pull cord, recoil starting system.
The clearing width of the Simplicity I924E snowblower is 0.61 m (24 inches), while it has a clearing height of 0.5 m (19.5 inches). Thanks to it’s powerful Briggs and Stratton engine, the I924E snow thrower can throw snow up to 12.2 m (40 feet) from the snow chute. The auger is made from lightweight aluminum and has a diameter of 0.3 m (12 inches). After being cut up by the auger, the snow gets sucked towards the impeller that has a diameter of 0.3 m (12 inches). This 3 blade impeller is the reason that the I924E can throw snow so far.
The Simplicity I924E snow thrower transfers power to the wheels through a friction disc drive transmission that gives the machine 6 gears when traveling forward and 2 gears for reversing. The wheels on the snowblower have a special Artic Trac thread that offers them fantastic grip on slippery surfaces. These tires have a width of 0.13 m (5 inches) and a diameter of 0.33 m (13 inches). When compared to other dual stage snow blowers with similar cutting widths, the I924 snowblower performs very well indeed. If you are looking for a very similar snowblower then check out the Simplicity I1224E Snow Blower.
