McCulloch M125107H
The McCulloch M125107H lawnmower has a very large cutting width of 42″ although it’s engine is not particularly powerful. The engine is a gasoline powered Briggs and Stratton. This one cylinder engine is a PowerBuilt model and produces 5.8 kW at 2500 rpm. The engine stays oiled thanks to a splash lubrication system. The fuel tank which supplies the engine with gasoline is very small with a capacity to hold just 4.7 liters (1.2 US gallons). Power from the engine reaches the wheels of the M125 107H through a hydrostatic transmission. This transmission means that you don’t need to worry about gear changing on the lawnmower. Instead, to speed up and slow down, you just need to use the lever.
The mower deck on the McCulloch M125107H, as previously mentioned is fairly big, with a cutting width of 1.07 m (42 inches). This means that it’s suitable for gardens that range from about 1 acre to 4 acres in size. However do be aware that due to it’s lack of power, you may find it struggling in very long, damp or thick grass. The mower deck can operate as low as 1 inch above the ground and as high as 3.9 inches above the ground with a total of 6 different cutting heights. The blades in the mower deck are belt driven and are engaged using an electric clutch.
On the leading edge of the mower deck on the McCulloch M125107H, you will notice 2 small plastic anti-scalping wheels. These keep the mower deck from getting too close to the ground and possibly scraping it (when you are traveling over uneven areas). There are a large range of accessories that you can choose from for the M125 107H. Obviously a rear bagger for collecting the grass clippings is a popular one, but you can also get snow blowers, utility carts and even dethatchers for it.
