Kubota ZD326
The Kubota ZD326 zero turn lawnmower is one of the mid sized zero turn lawnmowers from the Z series from Kubota. If you are looking for something smaller, then you may be interested in checking out the Kubota ZD321 or the Kubota ZD323, while if it’s something even more powerful that you are after, then you should take a look at the Kubota ZG327 or the Kubota ZD331 lawnmowers. The ZD 326 gets it’s power from a Kubota engine, a D1005-E3-ZD. This diesel engine is liquid cooled and has a total displacement of 1.001 liters. You may have guessed from the name that this 3 cylinder engine produces a maximum output of 26 hp. The engine is keystarted with a 12 volt battery supplying 450 cold cranking amps.
This engine powers the mower deck on the Kubota ZD326. The cutting width of the deck comes to 60 inches and house 3 blades. The deck on the ZD 326 is constructed from fabricated steel and has a range of 4 inches from a height of 5 inches above the ground to a low of 1 inch above the ground that it can operate at. The mower deck is attached to the mower chassis through a quick joint, parallel linkage system.
The total length of the Kubota ZD326 comes to 2.22 m (87.4 inches), while it’s 1.91 m (75.2 inches) wide. The total width of the mower is much greater than the cutting width of the mower deck because of the plastic discharge flap located on the side of the mower deck. The ZD-326 comes with a roll bar (ROPS) as standard. It’s rear wheels which provide both power and direction to the lawnmower are the bigger, measuring 26×12-12 (26 inch diameter, 12 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter) while the front tires are much smaller each measuring 15×6-6 (15 inch diameter, 6 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter). There are also 3 slight variations of this model, the Kubota ZD326S-60, Kubota ZD326RP-60R and the Kubota ZD326P-60
