The GR 2020 is powered by a GH630 engine. This is a gasoline powered engine with 2 cylinders. The total size of the engine is 0.624 liters. The engine is prevented from overheating using an air cooling system. This engine has a total power output of 20 hp. The fuel tank that supplies the engine with gasoline can hold a maximum of 16 liters (4.2 US gallons).

The Kubota GR2020 is very easy to operate for a number of reasons. Probably the most useful thing about the garden tractor lawnmower is that it uses a hydrostatic gearbox to transfer power from the engine to the wheels. This hydrostatic transmission is controlled via a simple foot pedal. There is no gear changing! The GR 2020 is slowed down via a foot operated internal expanding brake. Steering on this lawnmower is also very comfortable thanks to it’s hydrostatic power steering that utilizes Kubota’s Glide Steer technology.
