The Kubota B2630 is a compact utility tractor from the B series of tractors from Kubota.It is powered by a Kubota D1105-E3-D21 diesel engine. This engine has a displacement of 1.123 liters and a power output of 26 hp. The 3 cylinder engine in the B 2630 is liquid cooled to prevent overheating. The pressurized lubrication system keeps the moving parts of the engine thoroughly lubricated to help prevent any excessive wear and tear. The air intake into the engine is first cleaned through a dual paper element air filter which removes particulate matter and prevents dust from entering into the combustion chamber.

The power from the engine is transferred to the wheels of the Kubota B2630 by a HST hydrostatic transmission. This gives the B2630 infinite speeds over 3 ranges (Hi, Med and Lo).
