John Deere Snowblowers
John Deere Snowblowers are so popular due to the simple fact that the JD brand is so trusted. While you may be a little hesitant to buy one of their snow blowers due to the price, you still should consider it due to the durability of all of John Deere’s range.
Take the 44 inch snowblower for the 100 series lawn tractors. It has a 42 inch wide mouth to capture snow. The first stage sees the snow being broken up by the rotating auger which is cleverly made of a cold resistant material to prevent the blade from deforming. When the snow does get sucked in, it then gets shot out of the spout which is not made of steel or aluminum but polyethylene to prevent rusting. The spout is also completely adjustable so the you can disperse the snow to you left or right or even in front of you, but is prevented from turning back and blowing snow into your face. The thing about the 100 series is that it is an attachement for John Deere tractor lawn mowers. It is very easy to attach and doesn’t require tools, but if you are looking for a stand alone John Deere snowblower, then check out the 522E single stage snow thrower.
The 522E has a 22 inch clearing width and is powered by an engine built by Briggs & Stratton (which is a manufacturer that John Deere team up with a heck of a lot) giving it an auger propelled drive system. It also comes with a 2 year warranty which is nice to have.
While the 522E is certainly a good little piece of machinery that is quite popular on a domestic scale, the 1332PE is John Deere’s most powerful snow blower. This baby comes with a 32 inch wide clearing mouth and is again powered by a much larger Briggs and Straton (who else) engine to pound out enough power to tackle even the most troublesome of snow drifts. Rather than toying with a starting cord like on other snowblowers, this John Deere snow blower comes with an electric starter button as standard so you never have to worry about getting her going on a cold morning. It also comes with a 6 gears for going forward and 2 for going backwards and even a halogen light for those working in low winter light. Again like the 522E, the John Deere 1332PE snowblower comes with a 2 year warranty.
