The engine that powers the JD 777 zero turn is a liquid cooled, gasoline powered motor that produces a power output of 27 hp. The total displacement of the engine comes to 0.746 liters. It uses a full pressure lubrication system to prevent it from seizing up during operation. The engine is key started using a 12 volt battery.
