The main differences between the regular model and the AWS model is their weight (although a lot of their dimensions are also quite different). The weight of the regular JD LX280 comes in at 220 kg (487 lbs), while the weight of the JD LX280AWS is much higher, tipping the scales at 254 kg (560 lbs). Instead they use John Deere’s Twin Touch technology which means that you just have 2 pedals, one for traveling forwards and one for reversing, easy!
