The John Deere 827E 27 inch snow blower is powered by a Snow Series engine designed and built by Briggs and Stratton that provides it’s auger with 11.5 ft-lbs of gross torque power. This dual stage snow thrower is similar to it’s smaller single stage brother, the John Deere 726E snow thrower in that it has a push button 110V electric starter, allowing you to get the JD 827E going without much effort at all on you part.

The fuel tank capacity on the John Deere 827E snowblower maxes out at 3 quarts of gasoline. It also comes with dual halogen lights which make operating it during the early morning or late evening much easier as you can see exactly what you are doing. The 0.25 liter engine transfers it’s power to the auger via a friction disc drive transmission which gives it 6 gears when traveling forward and 2 gears in reverse. The deflector chute can be easily removed if needs be by simply unscrewing it. The chute itself has the flexibility to turn 190 degrees and needs to be operated manually.

The John Deere 827E snow thrower comes with X Trac tires as standard. They have a diameter of 16 inches and are 4.8 inches wide to help make sure that the machine (almost always) stays stuck to the ground.
