John Deere 7H19
The engine powering the John Deere 7H19 is very similar to the one powering the John Deere 7H17. This is a 19 hp Kawasaki that has a displacement of 0.585 liters. This 2 cylinder overhead valve gasoline engine uses a dual stage air filter to clean the air intake of any impurities before it enters the combustion chamber. The fuel tank supplying gasoline to the JD 7H19 can hold up to 22.7 liters (6 US gallons). The engine is started using a pull cord, recoil mechanism instead of a keystart.
Even new owners will find operating the John Deere 7H19 easy thank to it’s Tuff Torq transmission which means that you won’t have to be constantly messing around with gears when you want to speed up or slow down. The top speed of the JD 7H19 comes to a very impressive 11.3 kph (7 mph) which is enough to have you running just to keep up with it. The mower deck itself on the lawnmower is very large at 54 inches wide. This mowing deck discharges the grass clippings out the side. It’s one of JD’s 7 Iron II range which is incredibly strong and durable (most of this can be attributed to the fact that it’s made from 7 gauge steel).
The deck on the John Deere 7H19 is fully floating so it naturally follows the lines and curves of the lawn you are cutting to give an even and neat cut every time. You’ll also be glad to see a number of small anti scalp wheels attached to the front of the mower deck which keep the deck from scratching and scraping the grass. The JD 7H19 comes with a parking brake to prevent it from rolling down hills when it’s unattended.
