John Deere is a well known name in the world of tractor manufacturing. The John Deere 5720 is one of the latest tractors from the green and yellow team at John Deere.

The production of this tractor started in 2008 and it is still currently rolling off the production line (2010). Mannheim in Germany is the place where all the production is taken care of.

The engine is designed by John Deere themselves. The 4 cylinder engine has got a capacity of 80 HP. The fuel capacity of John Deere 5720 is close to 114 liters. It’s on the heavy side and weighs 8157 lbs. It has got a wide wheelbase of 88.6 inches, making it absolutely safe to drive in any terrain. It has got a 13 liter oil capacity and 13.5 liters coolant capacity. One of the highlights of this model is its electric starter.

The JD 5720 is well known for its 16 reverse and forward gears. The gear box oil capacity is a massive 50 liters. This kind of capacity enables the gear box to perform with same agility for years with little maintenance.

The John Deere 5720 is probably one of the longer tractors produced by John Deere with its length touching close to 156 inches. It has got a height of just above 100 inches and the width of 85.6 inches. It also has a reasonable ground clearance of close to 16 inches.

The JD 5720 can also have a 533 model loader attached to it. However, you can even opt for a 583 or a 633 model loader if you wish to. The front axle of this model has a capacity of 4.5 liters while the front hubs can store upto 0.7 liters.

The 5720 is currently one of the most preferred farming tractors in the world. Many are already using this wonderful machine and it is definitely a recommendation that many others follow as well.
