The John Deere 366 front blade was designed to be compatible with 3 different models. These are the John Deere 3320, the John Deere 3520 and the John Deere 3720 compact tractors, but it can also be used on a number of other models also. The JD 366 front blade is ideal for removing small to medium depths of snow. As you can probably guess from the name, the front blade measures 66 inches wide. Once attached to the front of your tractor and the hydraulics are connected up, the blade can be angled over a range of 60 degrees, 30 degrees in either direction.

The John Deere 366 front blade can be attached to JD tractors via a 3 frame adapter and front 3 point hitch. You should find that the it handily clears most depths of snow up to 20 inches, provided it’s not too compacted. However if the snow is heavily compacted or is very deep, you might find your tractor slipping considerably and struggling against the snow in front of it. If this is the case, you should definitely consider adding tire chains to your wheels. On top of this, if you are still finding it difficult to maintain traction, then you might consider adding additional weight in the form of ballast to your tractor.

Most people find the John Deere 366 front blade to be more than adequate for their snow clearing needs. They also like the fact that they can save a lot of money by buying a snow blade that works just as well as a more expensive snow blower. The last thing that is very handy about the JD 366 front blade is it doesn’t require tools to attach it to your tractor which is a real time saver, especially when it’s very cold outside.
