John Deere 2350
The John Deere 2350 tractor is the second smallest in the JD 2050 series of compact utility tractors. The smallest is the John Deere 2150 tractor, but if you are looking for something bigger, then the John Deere 2550 might take your fancy. The JD 2350 has a diesel engine that John Deere built themselves. This engine is a 4 cylinder with natural aspiration. It’s prevented from overheating thanks to a liquid cooling system that holds up to 12.9 liters. The engine itself has a total displacement of 3.9 liters and fires at a compression ratio of 17.4 to 1. It’s started with a 12 volt battery.
The John Deere 2350 tractor has a choice of 2 different gearboxes. The larger is a JD Hi-Lo Top-Shaft Synchronized partial power shift transmission that gives the tractor 16 gears going forwards and 8 for when it’s reversing. The tractor has a top speed of 28.6 kph (17.8 mph) going forward and uses a dry disc clutch for changing gears with this transmission. The smaller gearbox is a JD Top-Shaft Synchronized transmission which is partially synchronized. This gives the tractor 8 forward speeds and 4 for backing up. It gives the JD 2350 a top speed of 28.7 kph (17.8 mph).
The John Deere 2350 tractor is available with either a 4X2 2WD chassis or a 4X4 MFWD 4WD chassis. This means that the front wheels vary in size depending on the chassis choice. The front wheels on the 2WD chassis measure 7.5-16 (7.5 inch width, 16 inch rim diameter) while the front wheels on the 4WD chassis measure 11.2-24 (11.2 inch width, 24 inch rim diameter). The rear wheels on both chassis options are the same. They each measure 16.9-30 (16.9 inch width, 30 inch rim diameter). You can leave your thoughts on the JD 2350 below by filling out the form.
