John Deere 2300
The John Deere 2300 tractor is part of the 2000 series of tractors from the nineties. This is not the same series that includes the John Deere 2305, the John Deere 2320 or the John Deere 2720 tractors. The JD 2300, along with the rest of the tractors from the 2000 series built in the nineties was constructed in the Czech Republic by a company called Zetor. This is why the engine powering the tractor is a Zetor and not a John Deere. The engine is a 4 cylinder diesel that uses a liquid cooling system to prevent overheating. The tractor is 3.9 liters in size and has a total power output of 74 hp.
The engine transfers power to the wheels on the John Deere 2300 through a gearbox that gives it 10 speeds going forwards and 2 for reversing. There is a choice of chassis for the JD 2300. You can go with either a 2WD or a 4WD chassis. The rear wheels on the tractor are fairly large, each measuring 18.4-34 (18.4 inch width, 34 inch rim diameter), while the front wheels, responsible for steering it each measure 9-16 (9 inch width, 16 inch rim diameter). As the tractor is a compact, it’s total length comes to 4.09 m (161.4 inches), while it’s width is 1.99 m (78.7 inches). When shipping, the weight of the tractor comes to 1202 kg (2650 lbs).
When people were buying the John Deere 2300 tractor brand new, it came with the option of either an open operator station or a cab. The engine on the tractor also powers the rear hitch which is a category 2. The tractor also has a PTO for powering attachments on the rear of the tractor. The front can accommodate a small front end loader. If you want to leave a review of the JD 2300, then just fill out the form below.
