The Husqvarna P-ZT6126 zero turn lawnmower is very similar to the Husqvarna P-ZT6128 in almost every aspect, except power. The P-ZT 6126, which this review is about is 2 hp less powerful. However it has the same sized mower deck, which has a cutting width of 61 inches. Even though the cutting width measures 61 inches wide, the total width of the deck comes to 74.5 inches when you measure it with the discharge chute which is attached to the side of the deck. An electric clutch is used to engage the mower deck which consists of three blades.

When dealing with the grass clippings on the Husqvarna P-ZT6126 lawnmower, the operator has 3 choices. The easiest and least time consuming option is to just discharge the clippings out the side of the machine. However, you can also use a mulching kit to turn the grass clippings into a nutritious mulch that quickly rots into the ground, returning nutrients to the soil. The third option is also the most time consuming. It is a bagger attachment which can be added to the back of the mower to collect the clippings, leaving the lawn looking much neater. There are 5 anti-scalping wheels attached to the front of the cutting deck which prevent the deck from ‘catching’ the ground in front of it.

The Husqvarna P-ZT6126 is powered by a Kawasaki FX series, gasoline engine. This twin cylinder engine has a displacement of 0.726 liters and gives the PZT 6126 26 horsepower. The full pressure lubrication system has a capacity to hold 2.1 liters of oil. A dual hydrostatic ZT3400 transmission system transfers power from the engine to each rear wheel.
