Cub Cadet H1536
The Cub Cadet H1536 walk behind lawn mower is part of the Wide Area Hydrostatic series of machines that are much larger than the likes of the regular 21 inch walk behind lawn mowers that most people are used to. The H 1536 gets it’s power from a Kawasaki twin cylinder gasoline engine that provides a maximum power output of 15 hp. The engine is recoil started and has a full pressure lubrication system to keep everything working smoothly. The engine is prevented from overheating thanks to an air cooling system. The operator controls the speed and direction of the lawn mower using the pistol grip controls.
From these, the operator can control how fast the Cub Cadet H1536 the travels. Power is transferred from the engine to the wheels through a system of Parker wheel motors and Hydro-Gear pumps. This allows the H 1536 lawn mower to reach a top speed of 11.3 kph (7 mph). Power is transferred to the rear wheels which each measure 16×6.5-8 (16 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 8 inch rim diameter). The rear wheels have a turf thread for gripping the lawn without risking it tearing it up. The front wheels are actually smooth or ‘bald’ with no grip as these are only required to balance the lawn mower and make turning it very easy. Each front wheel each measures 9×3.5-4 (9 inch diameter, 3.5 inch width, 4 inch rim diameter).
The total weight of the Cub Cadet H1536 walk behind lawn mower comes to 242.2 kg (534 lbs). It’s deck has a 36 inch wide (cutting width). This deck is made from 10 gauge steel and houses 2 belt driven blades inside. The deck has a range of 2 inches from a low of 2 inches to a high of 4 inches above the ground.
