Cub Cadet 930 SWE Snow Blower
The Cub Cadet 930 SWE Snow Blower is part of the 900 series of snowblowers from Cub Cadet. These snow throwers are much bigger than smaller machines like the Cub Cadet 528 SWE Snow Blower or even the Cub Cadet 726 TDE Snow Blower. The 930SWE gets it’s power from a Cub Cadet, 4 stroke engine that was built in house. This engine is 0.36 liters in size and easily powers the machine forward as well as keeping both the auger and impeller working in even the harshest conditions. The snow blower use an electric push button starter system to get going, which is fairly standard these days.
The Cub Cadet 930 SWE snow blower has 6 forward speeds and 2 speeds for reversing. It uses X-TRAC tires that each have a width of 0.17 (6.5 inches) and a diameter of 0.41 m (16 inches) to give it a firm hold, even if the ground below it doesn’t have great grip. The chute used on the 930SWE snow thrower is controlled by the operator from the operator’s station for ease. It allows you to both rotate the chute up to 190 degrees and change the angle of the deflector at the top of the chute.
The clearing height of the Cub Cadet 930 SWE snow blower is 0.56 m (22 inches) while it has a clearing width of 0.76 m (30 inches). With the ability to clear an area this size and having a large engine, you would be right in thinking that the 930 SWE does weigh a lot. It tips the scales at 173.7 kg (383 lbs). Cub Cadet stand firmly and proudly behind this snowblower and provide new owners with a 3 year warranty if they are individuals using it on their own property and a 1 year warranty to commercial snow clearing contractors.

Bought my 930 SWE at the end of the 2008 snow season, I’ve been using it since the ’08-’09 season. This bad boy chews up the snow and spits it out. I’ve only broken one shear pin since new. I live in Central New York’s “snow belt” where we get about 120″+ of the white stuff each year, so it gets a workout. My driveway is about 120′ to the plowed road, and I go up and down about 4 times. Got tired of the wind blowing the snow back in my face, so I got a “universal” cab for it at Lowe’s. The electric start works every time. It’s best to use NON-ethanol fuel. I used pump gas first 2 seasons, and had to change the carburetor. Since then, NON-E only from a dedicated NON-E ONLY pump. Runs great !!
