Craftsman 29 Inch Dual Stage Snow Blower
The Craftsman 29 Inch Dual Stage Snow Blower is virtually indistinguishable from the likes of it’s bigger brother, the Craftsman Professional 30 Inch Dual Stage Snow Blower or it’s smaller brother, the Craftsman 28 Inch Dual Stage Snow Blower.
The only difference from the 29 inch version and the other 2 is just one inch. This snow blower is powered by a 9 horse power (hp) engine that allows the machine to happily charge into snow and cut it up.
Most people choose to start the Craftsman 29 inch 2 stage snow thrower by connecting it to the mains electricity and simply pressing the starter button, especially if it is very cold outside. However, some people need to start their snowblowers in very remote locations where no power source is available, so this machine also comes with a pull cord, mitten grip, recoil starting system. If you have recently had a very heavy snowfall, getting rid of it with this machine will be no problem at all. It has an intake depth of 0.53 m (21 inches), but it can actually handle snow drifts deeper than this thanks to it’s optional drift cutter attachments.
The total displacement of the engine used in the Craftsman 29 inch dual stage snow thrower is 0.31 liters. It’s fuel tank can hold up to 2.8 liters (0.75 US gallons) of gasoline. The oil pan in the engine can hold up to 0.83 liters of oil. The snow is thoroughly crushed and broken up upon entering the machine, first by the auger, then by the impeller. Thanks to the fact that this is a 2 stage snowblower it suffers from far less blockages (in the chute and housing) than a single stage snowblower of the same size and power.
