Bad Boy CZT50
The Bad Boy CZT50 zero turn lawn mower is the mid sized machine in the Commercial ZT range from Badboy. The Bad Boy CZT42 lawn mower has a smaller cutting width, while the Bad Boy CZT60 zero turn lawn mower has a larger cutting width. The cutting width of the Commercial ZT 50 is 50 inches. This mower deck has three, 16.5 inch blades housed inside it. The mower deck is fabricated from a single piece of steel that is three sixteenths of an inch thick (3/16″). The height of the deck is controlled electronically by the operator which allows it to be raised and lowered from a 1.5 inches to 5 inches above the ground with infinite operating heights in between. The blades on this deck are belt driven. You’ll find 6 anti-scalping wheels attached to the edge of the mower deck.
There are 2 possible engine choices for powering the Bad Boy CZT50 zero turn mower. The first is a Vanguard that produces 23 hp. The second is a 27 hp Kohler Courage engine. Both engines are gasoline powered and are air cooled. Both engines also use the same automotive type fuel filter. Attached to each engine is a 20 amp alternator which is used to recharge the 12 volt battery that is starts the engine.
Power from the engine on the Bad Boy CZT50 is passed to the wheels through a dual hydrostatic transmission that makes it an automatic with just the lap bars used to speed up or reverse. The total weight of the CZT 50 Badboy is 395.1 kg (871 lbs). There are a number of different attachments that can be used in conjunction with this lawn mower like a dual bagger system for collecting the clippings or a mulching kit to turn the grass clippings into a nutritious mulch.
