Bad Boy 6100 Outlaw
The Bad Boy 6100 Outlaw zero turn lawn mower is powered by the same engine that powers the Bad Boy 5400 Outlaw. This is a 30 hp Briggs and Stratton model that is fueled from a very large gas tank. This gas tank holds up to a maximum of 54.9 liters (14.5 US gallons) of gasoline. This engine on the 6100 Badboy powers the mower deck which has a cutting width of 61 inches (hopefully the model name gave this away!). The deck has a massive operating range. You can cut grass as low as 1 inch above the ground, but if you are tackling very damp or long grass, it can be raised up to 5.5 inches above the ground. Raising and lowering the mower deck is done using a foot assisted manual deck lifting system.
The deck on the Bad Boy 6100 Outlaw is made from 0.25 inch thick steel. Attached to the outer perimeter of this steel deck is a series of 6 anti scalping gauge wheels. These wheels prevent the blades from cutting into the earth when you are traveling over uneven ground. The engine drives the blades on the 6100’s mower deck through a belt drive system.
The max speed of the Bad Boy 6100 Outlaw zero turn lawn mower is very impressive, coming in at 20.9 kph (13 mph). This is thanks to the rear wheels driving it, each of which measures 24×12-10 (24 inch diameter, 12 inch width, 10 inch rim diameter). The Badboy 6100 Outlaw comes with a foldable roll bar (ROPS) as standard to protect the driver. One important thing to keep in mind is that the lawn mower is much wider that it’s cutting width of 61 inches due to the discharge flap attached to side which prevents the grass clippings from flying everywhere. There are a number of attachments that are compatible with this lawn mower from mulching kits to rollers to de-thatchers.
