The Cub Cadet Tank M60-KW zero turn lawn mower is very similar to both the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH and the Cub Cadet Tank L60 zero turn lawnmowers as all machines have a cutting width of 60 inches. Practically everything about the M60KW and the M60-KH is exactly the same except for the fact that the M60-KW has a much more powerful engine. This engine is a Kawasaki that produces 31 hp. The engine is gasoline powered and has a total displacement of 0.852 liters. The engine uses a heavy duty, dual element air filter that purifies the air intake of dust and other particulate matter before it’s allowed to enter into the combustion chambers of the engine. The Kawasaki engine has overhead valves and a full pressure lubrication system.

The engine on the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KW lawn mower transfers power to the wheels through a Hydro-Gear/Parker wheel motor system. This means that you never have to worry about gear changing. Instead there is 2 lap bars in front of you to control the speed and direction of the lawn mower. To make a zero radius turn on the lawnmower, you just need to push the bars in opposite directions. The top speed of the lawnmower comes to 19.3 kph (12 mph).

The wheels through which power is transferred are fairly large, each measuring 24×12-12 (24 inch diameter, 12 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter).
