Toro GT430
The Toro GT430 is the largest tractor lawnmower in the Toro GT400 series. The other 2 models in the series are a good bit smaller and less powerful. These are both the Toro GT410 and the Toro GT420 lawnmowers. The GT 430 lawnmower has a choice of a good few different mower decks when you are buying it first. These are a 42″, a 48″ and a 52″ side discharging mower decks as well as a 42 inch rear discharging mower deck. There is also a special 48 inch mower deck that is set up to thoroughly chop up the the grass clippings into a nutritious mulch. The side discharging mower decks are all about 10 inches wider than their actually cutting width due to the plastic protective flap on the side. You also have the option of attaching a rear bagger to collect the grass clippings that has a 11 cubic foot capacity to this mower.
The engine that powers the wheels and the mower deck on the Toro GT430 garden tractor lawn mower is a twin cylinder gasoline model from Kawasaki. This air cooled engine has a total engine size of 0.585 liters. The engine draws fuel from a very large fuel tank that can hold up to 15.1 liters (4 US gallons) of gasoline. The engine drives the wheels forwards using a hydrostatic transmission making the GT 430 an automatic and is much more easy to use when compared to a gearshift model of a similar size.
Operating the GT 430 lawn mower on very large lawns in fairly easy thanks to the fact that you can just engage cruise control so that you don’t have to constantly keep you arm on the accelerator. When buying the Toro GT430 brand new, it comes with a full 2 year bumper to bumper warranty.
