Ariens Max Zoom 52
The Ariens Max Zoom 52 inch zero turn lawn mower is powered by the same Kawasaki FR series, twin cylinder engine that is used to power the Ariens Max Zoom 48 lawn mower. This engine has a displacement of 0.726 liters and pumps out 24 hp. This power is then fed to the mower deck which is engaged using an Ogura GT1A clutch. The mower deck on the Max Zoom 52″ mower is raised and lowered from 1 inch to 5 inches above the ground using a foot pedal. It can be moved in increments of 0.5 inches. The mower deck is made from 10 gauge, welded steel.
Located at the front of the mower deck is a number of small plastic anti-scalping wheels to prevent the mower deck from scratching and scraping the surface of the lawn you are working on. For dealing with the clippings from the Ariens Max Zoom 52 lawnmower, you have 3 options. The easiest option is to just discharge the clippings out the side of the mower deck. However you may not like their unsightly presence on your grass. So what a lot of people do is purchase and install an optional mulching kit. This turns the grass clippings into a pulp which quickly rots back into the ground. To make you lawn look neat, you can opt for an optional rear bagger attachment to collect the grass clippings.
If you are looking for a larger model than the Max Zoom 52, then you should consider the Ariens Max Zoom 60 mower. The Ariens Max Zoom 52″ zero turn lawn mower is also known as the Ariens 991086. If you are interested in extending the operating hours of this machine by using it in the dark or twilight, then you should consider buying optional headlights for it. If you own or have owned one of these zero turn mowers, then please leave a review of it below to let others know what they should expect from it.
