John Deere 7330

The John Deere 7330 is a larger model compared to the likes of the John Deere 7130 and the John Deere 7230 row crop tractors. Like these smaller tractors, the JD 7330 is available in both a premium and ‘regular’ model. There is also a high crop model available. Both are highly customizable so that the person buying it will always be able to get it with exactly the features he wants. The engine powering the 7330 is a John Deere designed and built PowerTech 6068HRW74. This is a 6 cylinder engine that produces 150 hp. The engine is 6.8 liters in size and is uses a liquid cooling system to prevent overheating.

Like the rest of the tractors in the 7030 small frame series from John Deere, the John Deere 7330 has a choice of gearboxes to people purchasing it brand new. You can opt for a PowrQuad transmission that gives you 20 gears both in forwards and reverse, a PowrQuad transmission that gives you 16 gears in forward and reverse, a PowrQuad Plus that gives you 20 gears in both forward and reverse or a PowrQuad Creeper that gives the operator 32 gears traveling forward and 32 in reverse also. The top speed of the JD 7330 comes to 38.8 kph (24.1 mph).

As the John Deere 7330 is a row crop tractor, it is usually found pulling heavy machinery or even heavier loads of grain or other crops. These loads are attached to either it’s category 2 or category 3N/2, three point hitch. The rear lift capacity of the category 2 hitch is 3991 kg (8800 lbs) while the category 3N/2 hitch can lift up to 3719 kg (8200 lbs) safely. As it is often used for pulling very heavy loads, you’ll be glad to know that ballast can be attached to it in a number of ways, whether it’s to the wheels, front or back of the tractor or as liquid ballast inside the wheels.
