The John Deere 818 tractor is a fairly small and relatively unknown machine. It was built in Getafe which is located in Spain. The engine that powers it is built by Perkins. The engine uses a paper type air filter to stop dust and other particulate matter from getting into the engine along with the air intake. The drivers controls the speed of the tractor through a gearbox that provides the JD 818 with 12 speeds going forwards and 3 speeds for reversing.
