Cub Cadet G1336
The Cub Cadet G1336 walk behind lawn mower is a commercial model from the same series of machines that also includes the Cub Cadet G1332 which has a slightly narrower mower deck and Cub Cadet G1548 lawnmower which has both a larger mowing deck and more powerful engine. The G 1336 lawn mower gets it’s power from a twin cylinder Kawasaki that features overhead valves for a longer lifespan. The engine uses a full pressure lubrication system to keep the engine oiled throughout operation. Starting the lawn mower is fairly simple thanks to a very straightforward recoil mechanism. Even though this is a self propelled walk behind lawnmower, it has a very large fuel tank that can hold up to 18.9 liters (5 US gallons) of gasoline.
The rear wheels on the Cub Cadet G1336 self propelled lawnmower are powered by the engine. These wheels each measure 13×6.5-6 (13 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter) and push the lawn mower up to a top speed of 11.3 kph (7 mph) which is very nippy for a lawnmower that you will be walking behind. The wheels on the G 1336 are powered through a system of Parker wheel motors and dual Hydro-Gear pumps on the hydrostatic models and a 5 speed Peerless transmission on the gear drive models.
The mower deck on the Cub Cadet G1336 lawn mower is 36 inches wide (that’s the cutting width, the total width of the mower deck is about 10 inches higher than this as there is a large plastic discharge chute attached to the side to prevent the grass clippings from flying everywhere). The deck houses 2 blades and is made from fabricated 10 gauge steel. The mower deck on the G 1336 operates over a range of 2 inches from a high of 4 inches above the ground to a low of 2 inches above the ground. The mower blades in the deck are belt driven.
