The Husqvarna WGE3613 self propelled lawn mower is quite alike to the Husqvarna WGE4815 walk behind lawnmower except that the WGE 3613 is more like it’s smaller brother due to the fact that the engine is not as powerful and it’s mower deck has a smaller cutting width. The engine powering the WGE3613 is a Kawasaki that pumps out just 13 hp. This is a 2 cylinder engine that uses a dry type air filter to clean out the dust and small particles from the air intake which can potentially clog the combustion chambers. The engine transfers power to the wheels through a heavy duty cogged belt to minimize any potential loss of power during transfer.

The Husqvarna WGE3613 lawn mower uses a transmission system that gives is a choice of 5 speeds when traveling forwards. The fastest that it can travel at is 9.7 kph (6 mph). The speed is controlled through the Easy Touch System controls. The rear wheels which drive the WHE 3613 each measure 13×6.5-6 (13 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter). These wheels are larger than the front wheels as they carry more weight. The front wheels are ‘bald’ with no thread as they are not designed to offer the walk behind lawnmower any traction, they merely balance it and prevent it from scraping the ground in front of it.

The mower deck on the Husqvarna WGE3613 houses 2 blades that are identical, each with an 18 inch length. The mower deck itself is made from 10 gauge steel with the skirts made from stronger, thicker 7 gauge steel. There are also similar sized walk behind commercial lawnmowers that Husqvarna offer which include the Husqvarna WHF3617, the Husqvarna WH3617 and the Husqvarna WGP3613 models.
