The Husqvarna WGE4815 self propelled walk behind lawnmower has a large 48 inch cutting width. This deck is made from fabricated 10 gauge steel. The skirting (the sides of the mower deck) is made from 7 gauge steel which means that even if you do hit something at speed, the deck is highly unlikely to crack or even break. Inside the the 48 inch mower deck, there is 3 blades. The blades are all identical and each of them is 16.25 inches long. The blades are engaged using a manual clutch. The deck is raised and lowered manually also. The highest that the deck on the WGE 4815 can cut at is 5 inches above the ground, while the lowest that it can cut at is just 1.5 inches above the ground. The height adjustments for the deck are quite small which means that you should always be able to get the height you want.

The mower deck on the Husqvarna WGE4815 is powered by a Kawasaki engine that pumps out 15 hp. This is a 2 cylinder model and is powered by gasoline. The fuel tank that supplies the engine can hold up to (5.3 US gallons) which means that you will only have to fill it up very rarely.  The engine on the WGE 4815 also powers the rear wheels.

There is 5 gears on the Husqvarna WGE4815. The slowest gives it speed of 3.2 kph (2 mph) while the fifth gear gives it a speed of 9.7 kph (6 mph). The gears are controlled by the operator from behind the WGE 4815. The self propelled lawn mower uses an Easy Touch System for controlling it’s speed. The power is transferred from the engine to the rear wheels. These rear wheels have a turf thread to offer the lawn mower great traction without the risk of it tearing up the lawn you are traveling over.
