Toro Titan ZX4800
The Toro Titan ZX4800 zero turn lawnmower is the smallest machine in the Titan series. This may sound odd given the fact that it’s mowing deck has a cutting width of 48 inches. This mower deck is made from welded 10 gauge steel. Inside the mower deck are 3 blades that operate over 3 inches, from a low of 1.5 inches above your lawn to a high of 4.5 inches. This mower deck is engaged using an electric PTO and is belt driven. For dealing with the waste clippings from the Titan ZX 4800, there are 3 choices. Many like to purchase the optional bagger attachment to collect the grass clippings leaving the lawn looking very neat. However this is a little time consuming for some. It you would prefer to save a bit of time, you can optionally purchase a Recycler mulching kit for the zero turn mower. Alternatively you can just leave the cut grass clipping lying on the lawn.
The engine powering the Toro Titan ZX4800 is a twin cylinder, 4 stroke Kohler Courage. This engine has a maximum power output of 23 hp. The engine has a total size of 0.725 liters. A good sign that this Titan ZX4800 lawn mower is popular among commercial/professional users is the fact that the fuel tank has the capacity to hold up to 18.9 liters (5 US gallons) of gasoline meaning that it doesn’t need to be refueled often.
The total weight of the Toro Titan ZX4800 comes to 340.2 kg (740 lbs). The Toro ZX4800 comes with a 3 year limited warranty to those purchasing it for personal residential use only.
