Massey Ferguson 2723H
The Massey Ferguson 2723H garden tractor lawn mower is a mid sized model available from MF. It has a 27 horsepower engine and 50 inch cutting width. If this machine is not big and powerful enough for you, then you may be more interested in the likes of the Massey Ferguson 2927LC or the Massey Ferguson 2825H lawn tractors. If it’s something with less ‘oomph’ and a smaller cutting width that you need, then hopefully you will find the Massey Ferguson 2620H appropriate to your needs. As previously stated, the MF2723H comes with a gasoline engine that produces 27 hp. This engine is Vanguard model from Briggs and Stratton. This 2 cylinder model features overhead valves and is keystarted with the help of a 12 volt battery. The engine gets it’s gas from a fuel tank that has a capacity to hold up to 15.1 liters (4 US gallons).
The Massey Ferguson 2723H is very easy to use and control. The main reason is because there is no gear changing. Thanks to the fact that it uses a K-66 hydrostatic transmission, it’s fully automatic. To speed up, all you have to do is press down harder on the gas pedal. The MF 2723 H is also great to use on delicate lawns that you do not what to tear up . This is because it has a built in differential lock which means that during tight turns, you won’t be getting extra wheel spin from the inside wheels, that so often destroys fragile gardens.
The Massey Ferguson 2723H is built on a 2WD chassis that has been constructed from 10 gauge steel. It’s front tires are a good bit smaller than the rear tires (which carry most of the weight and drive the machine forwards), they measure 16×6.5-8 (16 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width, 8 inch rim diameter) while the rear wheels measure 23×10.5-12 (23 inch diameter, 10.5 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter). There is also a variation of the MF2723H which comes with power steering.
