The John Deere 6130D tractor is from the 6000 series of utility tractors. Other models in this range include the John Deere 6100D and the John Deere 6115D tractors. The JD 6130D is available in 2 different configurations. The other choice is a top shaft synchronized transmission that gives it 9 speeds traveling forwards and only 3 for reversing.

The category 2, 3 point hitch on the John Deere 6130D has a capacity to lift up 3084 kg (6800 lbs) safely. It can accommodate a large range of attachments, many of which will need to be balanced out with ballast attached either to the wheels or to the front/back ballast racks or the wheels.
