Toro Titan ZX6020
The Toro Titan ZX6020 lawnmower is the largest zero turn mower in the Titan series from Toro. Smaller models include the likes of the Toro Titan ZX4820 mower and the smallest model in the series, the Toro Titan ZX5420 zero turn lawnmower. The Titan ZX6020 has a 60 inch mower deck which means that it also needs more power. Consequently the engine powering this zero turn mower is a 4 stroke Kawasaki that produces 26 hp. This engine is air cooled and is a 2 cylinder model. Using a ZT 2800 hydrostatic transmission, each rear wheel can be controlled independently which is what gives it it’s zero turning ability.
The speed and direction of the Toro Titan ZX6020 lawnmower is controlled by the hand operated lap bars directly in front of the driver. To travel forwards or in reverse, both lap bars need to be pushed forwards or backwards by the same amount. To turn, you just need to push one of the lap bars further forwards or backwards than the other, thus making one rear wheel faster than the other and making the machine turn. The rear wheels each measure 20×10 (20 inch diameter, 10 inch width) while each front wheel measures 11×4 (11 inch diameter, 4 inch width).
The Toro Titan ZX6020 lawnmower also has a number of attachments that it’s compatible with. The most convenient is probably the twin bagger that can be attached to the back of the machine to collect the grass clippings, while the there is also a mulching kit that can be added on to the machine to turn the clippings into a nutritious pulp that quickly rots into the ground and returns it’s nutrients to the soil. Interestingly, you can also add on a light kit that will allow the operator to use the Titan ZX 6020 in the dark.
