Cub Cadet CC760
Their are 2 slightly different Cub Cadet CC760 self propelled walk behind lawnmowers. They differ due to their engines and starting mechanisms. The regular Cub Cadet CC760 is powered by a Briggs and Stratton gasoline engine that has a displacement of 0.344 liters. The Cub Cadet CC760ES has a much bigger engine. This is a Cub Cadet gasoline engine with a displacement of 0.42 liters. The less powerful CC 760 is started by a recoil mechanism (i.e. it’s started with a pull cord). The CC 760 ES is started by a electric starter system. Other than these 2 difference, both machines are identical.
Each Cub Cadet CC760 has a steel CycloCut mowing deck with a cutting width of 33 inches. This is far, far bigger than any of Cub Cadet’s other offerings like the Cub Cadet CC98 and the Cub Cadet CC999 lawnmowers. The mower deck can be adjusted through 8 different heights from 1.25 inches above the ground to 3.5 inches above the ground. The tires supporting the machine and driving it forward are pneumatic (rear tires) and semi pneumatic (front wheels).
The front wheels each have a diameter of 8 inches while the rear wheels are twice as big; each has a diameter of 16 inches. Unfortunately on both Cub Cadet CC760 lawnmowers there is no bagger option to collect the grass clippings. Instead you have to either discharge them out the side or mulch them. There are 4 speeds that the mower travels at and this is controlled by a device on the handlebars. If you buy one new, then it comes with either a 3 year warranty or 120 operating hour warranty (whichever comes first). This mower is big enough to cut up to 2 acres of grass. However if you have more grass than this to cut, it’s advisable that you consider a tractor lawn mower instead.
