New Holland 63CS Snow Blower
The New Holland 63CS Snow Blower is quite a step up from the likes of the New Holland 50CS Snow Blower or even the New Holland 836GS Snow Blower. The 63 CS has a very impressive cutting width of 1.6 m (63 inches) while it has a very respectable cutting height of 0.56 m (22 inches). However the actual cutting depth of the snow blower can be greatly increased by simply adding optional drift cutters to either side of the snow blower.
The New Holland 63CS snow blower can be attached to the front of the New Holland TC29D, TC29DA, TC33D and TC33DA via the quick attach bracket system that allows you to very quickly get up and running. The auger that is located inside the ‘bucket’ part of the 63CS has a diameter of 0.36 m (14 inches) which easily breaks up the snow before sending it towards the impeller. The impeller is made up of 4 fan blades that give it a diameter of 0.46 m (18 inches). This impeller has enough power to send snow up the chute and more than 9.14 m (30 feet) away from the machine.
If you are someone who doesn’t like to constantly leave the cab of your tractor to adjust the direction of the chute, then you will be relieved to hear that there are optional electronic and hydraulic chutes. These are set up so that you can control the rotation of the chute without having to leave the cab. The total weight of the New Holland 63CS snow blower measures in at 200 kg (440 lbs) which may cause the back wheels of the tractor to lose there grip and lower their contact pressure with the ground. To counteract this, you best course of action to take is adding ballast to back of the tractor. There is also a variation of this model called the New Holland 63CSH snow blower.
